Our websites ask before they keep anything beyond your answer. Choose per kind, and change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a notice asks. Accept all allows preferences and analytics; Reject all allows neither; Choose lets you pick. Your answer is kept for six months on all three of our sites (eloai.io, lifeos.eloai.io and connect.eloai.io), so you are asked once, not on every site. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, analytics starts switched off.
Strictly necessary
| Name | Kind | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| elo_consent | Cookie, .eloai.io | Your answer: which kinds you allowed, and when. | 6 months |
| introSeen | Session storage | That you have seen the opening animation once this visit. | Until you close the tab |
If Cloudflare, which runs our sites, suspects an attack, it can ask your browser to pass a security check, which sets a security cookie for that purpose only.
Preferences, if you allow them
| Name | Kind | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| elo_prefs | Cookie, .eloai.io | Light or dark, the ELO you chose and its name, and the language for code samples, the same on all three sites. | 1 year |
Without it, your choices last until you close the tab.
Analytics, if you allow it
Each page you open is counted: the page, and the name of the site you came from if it was another one. No cookie, no id and no IP address are kept, so it counts visits, not people. Without your permission nothing is sent.
Things we do not use
No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party trackers and no fingerprinting. Our fonts come from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's address when it sends them, as any web server does.
What you send us
When you join the waitlist we keep the email address you typed, to tell you when the app is ready. When you chat with or call the ELO on our sites, the conversation is kept as text for 90 days to improve the ELO, without your voice, your IP address or anything that identifies you; see the privacy policy. Speaking to it uses your browser's own speech recognition, run by your browser's maker, and its replies are spoken by a voice model on our server.
