Consumer healthdata privacy policy

Last updated 5 October 2026. Applies to Life OS, the ELO, ELO Connect, the Life OS API and the eloai.io websites, published by ELO AI.

This policy covers "consumer health data" as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law and similar state laws. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which covers everything else.

The health data we handle

  • What you read into Life OS from Apple Health with your permission: activity, workouts, heart rate and its variability, resting heart rate, sleep, breathing, blood oxygen, temperature, body measurements, cycle tracking and nutrition other apps wrote.
  • What you log: meals and their nutrients, water, workouts, weight, sleep notes, mood and cycle check-ins, pregnancy tracking and journal entries about your health.
  • What the app works out from it: sleep score, readiness, Life Score, energy burned, targets and the patterns your ELO notices.
  • Location you allow, which can show visits to a place where you received care.
  • What you tell your ELO about your health in messages and calls.

Why we use it

Only to provide the features you use: to show your scores and trends, to set targets, to answer you and act on your requests, to remind and wake you, and to keep your backup if you turned backups on. Never for advertising, never sold, never used to train AI models.

Where it comes from

From you, from your iPhone and Apple Watch, and from Apple Health, including what other apps you chose have written there.

Where it goes

Most of it never leaves your iPhone. It leaves only with your consent, and only to the service providers who run features for you: Cloudflare (our servers and the AI models of Workers AI) and Google (the Gemini API, on paid terms), to answer a message or call; Cloudflare, for your sealed backup, which we cannot read; and Apple, for calls and notifications to your iPhone. We have no affiliates that receive it. We do not sell consumer health data and never will.

Your consent

We ask before reading Apple Health (Apple's own permission sheet), before sending anything to an AI model (a sheet that says what is sent and to whom) and before using location. You can withdraw any of these at any time: Apple Health in the Health app, Sharing, Apps; AI models in Settings, Privacy; location in iPhone Settings.

Your rights

You can confirm whether we hold your consumer health data, see it, get a copy, delete it, and withdraw your consent. Most of this is in the app: everything it holds is visible there, and Settings, Account, Delete account deletes everything we hold. For anything else, or a list of who received your data, email hello@eloai.io. We answer within 45 days. If we decline, you can appeal by replying to our answer; if you still disagree, you can contact the Attorney General of Washington or of your own state.
